Hi, I'm Basak.

My work is rooted in a deep curiosity about how the mind, body, and behaviour shape our wellbeing — and how we can reconnect with ourselves in meaningful ways. Over the years, my personal experiences with stress, emotional overwhelm, and physical symptoms led me to explore the science of healing and human resilience. What began as a search for understanding gradually evolved into a meaningful professional path—one that integrates psychology, mind-body practices, and behavioural science.
Before stepping into this field, I spent 11 years in finance as an independent auditor. It was a valuable chapter, but eventually I realized that my true purpose was elsewhere. Choosing to start again became the turning point that aligned my life with the work I do today.

My Story

My story is one of curiosity, transformation, and a deep desire to understand what it truly means to feel well. For many years, I moved through life on autopilot—meeting expectations, managing responsibilities, and doing everything “right,” yet feeling disconnected from myself. Stress, emotional intensity, and physical symptoms were constant signals, but I didn’t yet have the tools to understand what my body was trying to communicate.
Becoming a mother was a turning point, but not the only one. When my son and I went through hand, foot, and mouth disease together, the intense stress of that period triggered a severe flare in my body. Practically overnight, psoriasis spread across my skin. It was frightening, overwhelming, and deeply humbling. For the first time, I realized how closely the nervous system, emotions, and physical health are intertwined. My body was speaking loudly, and I could no longer ignore it.
This experience pushed me to explore the mind-body connection with a different level of sincerity. I read, learned, and experimented with practices that helped me reconnect with myself. This curiosity eventually led me to Functional Medicine Coaching, where I completed a year-long training that deepened my understanding of lifestyle, stress, and behaviour change. It was the first time I clearly saw how emotional patterns, nervous system responses, and daily habits shape our wellbeing.

Before entering this field, I spent 11 years working as an independent auditor in finance. Choosing to start again was one of the most courageous decisions of my life—and the one that aligned me with my true purpose.
My journey continued through mind-body medicine, mindfulness, yoga, behavioural science, and eventually psychology. Each step added a new layer to my understanding of healing and human resilience. Today, I integrate these experiences into my work—supporting individuals as they navigate stress, emotional patterns, and the complexities of being human.
My story is still unfolding, and every person I work with becomes part of it. Together, we explore what it means to return to ourselves with awareness, compassion, and courage.

Understanding how your body responds to stress is the foundation of meaningful change. We explore patterns like overwhelm, shutdown, or hyperactivation and build tools that support regulation and safety.

• Somatic awareness

The body holds experiences long before the mind makes sense of them. Through gentle mind-body practices, we reconnect with physical cues, sensations, and internal signals.  

• Emotional regulation

We work on recognizing emotional patterns, building tolerance, and developing healthier responses to stress, triggers, and daily challenges.

• Behavioural science & habit design

Sustainable change happens through small, realistic steps. Using behavioural principles, we create habits that align with your values and lifestyle.

• Mindfulness & grounding practices

These practices help cultivate presence, clarity, and self-awareness—key components of emotional wellbeing.

• Lifestyle foundations

Sleep, stress, movement, and daily rhythms all influence how we feel. We explore these areas with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
